Can you bake a layer cake in a jelly roll pan? - large cake pans
I need a big cake for a birthday. I rolled 2 pots that are bigger then my pans. When I run it in small batches to strata? No idea how long to cook? I use the standard boxed cake mix.

You see the sides of a Jelly Roll bread are only 1 "high? ... You can use a lasagne dish, or 9x13 to several" layers of cake (or even 4 of them, if necessary, and how to use 2 cakes together)
Yes you can, make a series of thin layers.
Of course, each layer becomes thinner, less time stitching. And it would be difficult to say exactly how long the cooking time. Keep an eye on the former. Keep track of playing time and a toothpick to see if it does, then time must be used for subsequent coatings.
Yes, it works well. The layers are slightly thinner, but make 3 or more and you have a big cake Nice. I bake for 20 minutes and consult a toothpick in the center. Good luck!

There are so many layers of cake. Above all, the 7-layer cake. (If you notice, these are thin layers) I do not know the time, I saw that after 15 to 20 minutes. Good luck!
